How it works

Hire it, bound it, and read the report.

Every agent in the catalog satisfies the same contract. That’s what makes this a catalog rather than a pile of scripts — and it’s why the second agent you hire behaves exactly like the first.

  1. 01Connected

    Connect it

Point the agent at the systems it needs — your accounting package, your inbox, your filing portal. It gets read access until you widen it.

  2. 02Bounded

    Set the boundary

Decide what it does alone and what it must bring to you. Every agent ships with a sensible default, and you can tighten it. Draft-only is always available while you build trust.

  3. 03Running

    It runs on a schedule

On a cadence or on an event — never waiting to be asked. When it reaches your boundary, or its own confidence drops, it stops and escalates rather than guessing.

  4. 04Reported

    You see everything

Every action is logged in plain language: what it did, when, why, and what came back. Attributable, and reversible.

The approval gate

It asks you in Slack before it sends.

When an agent is about to do something that commits you — publish a campaign, file a return, chase a customer — it stops and asks, where you already are.

You approve or you don’t. Nothing goes out on your behalf that you didn’t say yes to, until you decide to widen the boundary yourself.

Grants — the Made Smarter Adoption application is drafted and ready to file, six days before the deadline.

One thing needs you: the match-funding declaration commits the business to £18,000 of its own spend. That’s not mine to agree to.

Where authority stops

The boundary is the feature.

An agent that never stops is one you can’t hand anything to. So every agent has a line it does not cross, and it’s written down before the agent is built — not discovered afterwards.

Agents not listed here don’t have a published boundary yet. We’d rather leave it blank than invent one.

The receipt comes before the capability.

Nobody hands an agent their ledger or a six-figure filing unless they can see exactly what it did and undo it. Visibility isn’t a reporting feature we added afterwards — it’s the first thing each agent is built to do, and nothing ships without it.
